Just had to write something today – it’s a numbers thing. Back from two weeks of being on the road: After we returned from Missouri, we left for Tacoma, then came back to Portland and flew to Chicago, drove to Appleton, Wisconsin, and then down to Indianapolis. We met up with Milagro alumni touring mates Ina Strauss, Brenda Arellano and Leila Breton. It’s a national club, you see, with members from coast to coast. While touring Duende de Lorca, I was also searching for the new actress for B’aktun 13 – thank God for smart phones and amazing stage managers! We auditioned three wonderful ladies and chose Tricia Castañeda-Gonzales for the part of Luz. So now the world of Teatro is back on track and my actors are helping me to hold the universe together….go team Milagro!
