"Jardín de Sueños" is an inspiration

Nelda Reyes, the director for our production of Jardin de Sueños, asked her cast to share their thoughts or a quote about the show and how its themes resonate with each person. Here's what they shared ...

No podemos encontrar ayuda verdadera y amor en nuestra familia, si nunca dejamos esas máscaras que cubren nuestros verdaderos sentimientos.

We cannot find the true help and love in our family unless we let go of the masks that cover our true feelings.

Siumara 

Donde quiera que tu sueño te espera, tú vas a llegar ahí un paso a la vez.  Pero nunca llegarás sino hasta que tomes el primer paso.

Wherever your dream awaits, you will get there one step at a time.  But you’ll never arrive until you take the first step.

El camino puede ser largo, pero la meta es alcanzable. Hay que ser flexibles y  nunca perder fe ni parar de luchar.

The road can be long, but the goal is reachable. You need to be flexible and never lose faith nor stop fighting.

'"El problema de inmigración continua siendo ignorado por nuestros gobernantes. Si al menos podemos inspirar a los jóvenes a hablar abiertamente al respecto y sin miedo con sus familias y la comunidad, hemos dado un paso al frente. Hay que ser fuerte y seguir luchando hasta que se encuentre una solución. "La única lucha que se pierde es la que se abandona."

'The immigration problem continues to be ignored by our government. If we can at least inspire the youth to openly speak up to their families and the community without fear, we have taken a step forward.
