After you make your annual donation to Miracle Theatre Group, you make a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust. Then, when tax time rolls around, you receive an Oregon state tax credit of up to $500 for individuals, $1000 for couples, or $2500 for corporations. And when you add up the deductions and credit, at the federal and state levels, the tax savings for cultural giving are impressive.

Oregon’s unique cultural tax credit is a powerful incentive. But the reason to give is to sustain and develop Oregon’s arts, heritage and humanities.

The Oregon Cultural Trust provides funding for Oregon’s cultural community, including Miracle Theatre Group. With a $200 million endowment, it will secure sustainable funding for Oregon culture in perpetuity. The Cultural Trust program is unique and has been ranked with the bottle bill and vote-by-mail as among Oregon’s most forward-thinking public policy measures. Together, 21,000 Oregonians have raised $25 million for culture, created more than $9 million in grants that benefit every county in Oregon and built the endowment to nearly $15.5 million.
