For opening night of Oedipus el Rey, Miracle had the great opportunity to introduce patrons to one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Le Bistro Montage is a new addition this year to our circle of opening night sponsors, but not new to the neighborhood. Their popular Cajun-style dishes and famous macaroni and cheese have delighted Portlanders for many years, and a partnership was just waiting in the wings for its chance to grace the stage. Peter Derosa, manager, has long been a big fan, but it took the networking of Sylvia Malan-Gonzalez to bring the partnership to fruition. Since formal introductions were made, Miracle and Montage are now great friends, with another sponsorship already planned for the summer volunteer party recognition (watch for details on that celebration coming soon!). In the meantime, have a taste of their wonderful food — it’s just a stone’s throw away from El Centro Milagro at 301 S.E. Morrison St. ¡Viva Montage!
