JAM highlights! Learn to make and play the zampoña

With only a few days away from kicking off our month long of free classes and weekend workshops in our first JAM - July at Milagro, we are highlighting a few of the wonderful workshops you can still sign up for!


First up is our  Musica Andiana Weekend Workshop which will be held Friday July 13th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and Saturday July 14th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Have you always wanted to learn how to play an instrument but were just too afraid? This is your chance! Enjoy a two days filled with music, learning, and community! This two day workshop will be taught by Gerardo Calderón of Grupo Condor.


On Friday night, enjoy a demonstration of the zampoña, which is one of the oldest wind instruments from South America. Come back on Saturday to craft your very own zampoña and learn how to play it!
